Job Number: 1489594 BusinessGE Corporate Business Segment: Corporate Finance & Operating Components Posted Position Title: FP&A Manager Career Level: Experienced FunctionFinance Function Segment: Financial Planning and Analysis Location: Japan City: Tokyo Postal Code: 107-6115 Relocation AssistanceNo Essential Responsibilities- Directly supporting FP&A Manager - GBS ASIA in managing GBS base cost budgets and drive opportunities for improvement - Participate in quarterly/yearly financial planning/estimation, closing process (e.g. accruals) and other reporting requirements for the ledgers under GBS Japan & ASIA responsibilities. - Create monthly productivity review packs for HQ, update center HC on tool, provide commentary on YTD variance with plan & provide quarterly Revenue/Expense/OM forecasts to HQ - Support FP&A GBS ASIA & Japan Finance/Business planning cycles including Product performance review, SII (1-year Plan) and Operating Plan - Support GBS ASIA & Japan managers on pricing models to ensure full liquidation working with Asia Pacific Pricing leader - Provide relevant information requested by ASIA FP&A & Japan GGO - Collaborate with ASIA & Japan GBS functions to ensure data integrity and compliance of financial information. - Lead & support GBS ASIA & Japan in the building of best in class MIS involving, data collection, analysis and retention - Lead in adhoc finance projects or GBS businesses as and when required. Qualifications/Requirements:- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or any other related majors. - A minimum of 4 years professional level financial work experience. - Experience working in a global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate senior managements - Strong PC skills: Experience with financial systems/applications such as Oracle, Hyperion, etc. Strong -- Excel skills in data analysis - Strong analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational actions to be taken to meet the target and drive saving challenges - Clear thinking/problem solving: successfully led projects/process improvements within operations/finance functions; able to quickly grasp new ideas - Adaptable/Flexible: being open to change in response to new information, and different or unexpected circumstances. - Proficiency in English and Japanese is highly preferred but not mandatory Desired Characteristics- Graduate of GE FMP/CAS or graduate of other financial leadership programs - Trained to be able to work with minimum supervision - Integrity: accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions and when dealing with others - Confidence/Assertiveness: strong communication skills - Experience working in multi task job
